World social Forum / Forum social mondial – Cotonou

EN – From the 4th to the 8th of August 2026 the World Social Forum (WSF) will take place in Cotonou in Benin (see https://fsm2026benin.org/). Several migration related networks and organizations decided to participate and to build an own migration village. In its program various struggles for freedom of movement will be presented and challenges and strategies will be re-discussed.

FR – Du 4 au 8 août 2026, le Forum social mondial (FSM) se tiendra à Cotonou, au Bénin (voir https://fsm2026benin.org/). Plusieurs réseaux et organisations liés à la migration ont décidé d’y participer et de créer leur propre «village de la migration». Au programme: la présentation de différentes luttes pour la liberté de circulation, ainsi qu’une nouvelle discussion sur les défis et les stratégies.
