One year ago, we met at the ZAD near Nantes for the Transborder Summer Camp: more than 500 activists came together for amazing exchange and mutual inspiration. Now, we want to invite you for a digitalTSC from the 15-18.07.2020.

Il y a un an, nous nous sommes rencontrés à la ZAD près de Nantes pour le camp d’été transfrontalier : plus de 500 militant.e.s se sont réuni.e.s pour un échange incroyable et pour s’inspirer mutuellement. Aujourd’hui, nous vous invitons à participer à un TSC (Transborder Summer Camp) numérique pendant les journées et les soirées du 15 au 18 juillet.

Invitation to the digital Transborder Summer Camp from 15.07-18.07.2020 – Call for registration (deadline 10.07.2020)

One year ago, we met at the ZAD near Nantes for the Transborder Summer Camp: more than 500 activists came together for amazing exchange and mutual inspiration. Now, we want to invite you for a digitalTSC from the 15-18.07.2020.

With the digitalTSC we want to provide a space to re-discuss strategies and challenges in (post) Corona times: we want to continue the discussions and networking debates that took place at the TSC, to understand where we are now 1 year later. And importantly, we want to propose a transnational decentralized mobilization for the beginning of September: on the 5th anniversary of the “March of Hope” – and the historic breakthrough against the border regime in 2015 during the long summer of migration along the Balkan route.

The digitalTSC will take place in different online meetings. Below you find a first program. Of course, everybody is welcomed to join as many sessions as they want, however, considering how exhausting online meetings are for many, we hope that people might join the two (bigger) plenary sessions and one or two (smaller) workshops. The digitalTSC will take place in English and French with translations.

We ask everyone who wants to join to register with a short email to our contact address (tsc2019@protonmail.com). You only need a stable internet connection! Please include the language(s) you need/can speak (English and/or French) and please also list in which panels or workshops you will participate. In order to prepare the online infrastructure for all the meetings and to organize translation, we need this information latest until 10.07.2020.

On 12th of July we will send to out the final program as well as the technical information and links to join the digitalTSC. Please refer to our website for short term updates.

Invitation au camp d’été numérique transfrontalier du 15.07-18.07.2020 – Appel à inscription (date limite 10.07.2020)

Avec le TSC digital, nous voulons offrir un espace pour rediscuter des stratégies et des défis à l’époque (post) Corona : nous voulons poursuivre les discussions et les débats autour du réseautage qui ont eu lieu au TSC, pour comprendre où nous en sommes maintenant un an plus tard. Et surtout, nous voulons proposer une mobilisation transnationale décentralisée pour le début du mois de septembre : pour le 5e anniversaire de la “Marche de l’espoir” – et la percée historique contre le régime frontalier en 2015 pendant le long été de la migration sur la route des Balkans.

Le TSC digital se déroulera dans le cadre de différentes réunions en ligne. Vous trouverez ci-dessous une première ébauche du programme. Bien entendu, tout le monde est invité à participer à autant de sessions qu’il ou elle le souhaite, mais étant donné que les réunions en ligne sont épuisantes pour beaucoup, nous espérons que les gens pourront se joindre aux deux (grandes) sessions plénières et à un ou deux (petits) ateliers. Le TSC digital se déroulera en anglais et en français, avec des traductions.

Nous demandons à tou.te.s celles et ceux qui souhaitent y participer de s’inscrire en envoyant un bref courriel à notre adresse de contact (tsc2019@protonmail.com). Vous avez seulement besoin d’une connexion internet stable ! Veuillez indiquer la ou les langues que vous parlez (anglais et/ou français) et veuillez également indiquer à quels panels ou ateliers vous participerez. Afin de préparer l’infrastructure en ligne pour toutes les réunions et d’organiser la traduction, nous avons besoin de ces informations au plus tard jusqu’au 10.07.2020.

Le 12 juillet, nous vous enverrons le programme final ainsi que les informations techniques et les liens pour rejoindre le TSC digital.
